EUREKA Roadshow ROMANIA*2018

It would be impossible to imagine our lives without heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration – yet we tend to overlook the industry that is providing all these technologies.

What will the future look like for this industry? More importantly, what will future generations expect from it? And how can the industry respond? EPEE & EVIA – two major European associations representing the heating, cooling and ventilation industry – are behind the EUREKA initiative and committed to helping industry prepare for the future and best respond to the needs and expectations of future customers.

For this purpose, EPEE and EVIA have launched a “EUREKA roadshow”, aiming to organise various events at national level to discuss the challenges industry faces across EU Member States. Bucharest (Romania) will be the next stopping-off point for the EUREKA roadshow on Friday 14 December 2018. This will help prepare the ground for EUREKA 2019, which will take place at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, on 11-12 June 2019.

The Bucharest roadshow event will be supported by AIIR and AGFR and enable our colleagues in the Romanian industry and further afield to come along and join the EUREKA experience. With Romania due to take over the Presidency of the EU in the first half of 2019, there will be no better time to connect with Romanian decision-makers and industry and exchange ideas on how to make our industry fit for the future.

Launched in 2016 by EPEE and EVIA – the EUREKA conference cycle is a highly original concept dedicated to the role of the HVACR sector (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration) for society and future generations. It provides a unique forum for cross-generation debates, enabling industry to continue innovating and meet even higher levels of comfort and sustainability.

The first edition of EUREKA took place in The Hague in 2016 and the second in Berlin in December 2017, with the roadshow event in Italy in September 2017 in-between.
