29/05/2024

EVIA Announces New Leadership: Pierre Cruveillé as Chairperson, Yves Lambert and Holger Thamm as Vice-Chairs.

After a successful Annual General Assembly in Brussels last week, the European Ventilation Industry Association (EVIA) is proud to introduce its new leadership team. Mr. Pierre Cruveillé has been appointed as the new Chairperson, with Mr. Yves Lambert from Renson as newly elected Vice-Chair and Mr. Holger Thamm from Stiebel Eltron as re-elected Vice-Chair. EVIA is also pleased to announce the re-election of Mr. Johannes Bollman from Zehnder as Treasurer.

Pierre Cruveillé brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as the Public Affairs Director at ALDES since 2016, where he has been instrumental in shaping public policy and industry standards. Prior to this, Pierre had a distinguished 20-year career particularly in the European Parliament and as Deputy Director of AREVA’s representation to the European institutions. His vast network and expertise in advocacy issues, business development, international relations, and strategic planning will be invaluable assets to EVIA.

“At a time full of opportunities for the ventilation industry, I feel honoured and obliged to have been chosen as Chairman of our association. As previous holder of this position, I would like to sincerely thank Axel for his leadership over the past two years which allowed us to achieve much collectively. I look forward to pursuing the work with the new Steering Committee and the members at large of our association so that mechanical ventilation is fully acknowledged for its contribution to making buildings more healthy and energy efficient.”

EVIA would also like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the outgoing chairperson, Axel Diepolder, for his outstanding work and numerous successes during his tenure. Axel’s leadership has set a strong foundation for the association’s future endeavours.

In addition, EVIA is pleased to announce that Joan Miro Ramos, Axel Diepolder, Jurgen Albig, Chris Yates, and Lauren Cifoux will join or remain on the steering committee, ensuring continuity and experienced guidance.

Join us in welcoming Pierre Cruveillé, Yves Lambert, Holger Thamm, and Johannes Bollman to their new roles within EVIA. Under their leadership, we are poised for continued success in shaping the future of the European ventilation industry.
